I am thankful to have had the good fortune of being born and raised in Kelowna, and witness this great city evolve from a sleepy town known for apples and beaches, into a growing metropolis.

My venture into the field of Real Estate was pretty natural. I was exposed to real estate as a career very early in life, given the fact that my Dad, Mark, is a 25+ year veteran in the business.

What I can say, which no amount of observation can prepare you for, is that the most rewarding part of this job has been the relationships I have developed with great clients. When working with a client, nothing is more rewarding to me than when I reach the point where we surpass a transactional business relationship and I become more than just a Realtor.

For me it’s important that we feel comfortable working with each other. I try to remain as real and authentic with my clients as possible. This isn’t about image or ego; I’m here to be your advocate.

While real estate is a large driving force in my life, my true passion is for my family. My two boys, Owen & Leo, are the light of my life and my wife Andrea is the glue that keeps everything (mostly me) together.

Matt has obtained a Bachelor of Business Management from UBC, which is equivalent to a degree in Business Administration but with an added focus on business management and marketing.

During his studies, Matt was honoured to be a part of the inaugural class for the department, and had the benefit of working alongside his professors to help design the program for future graduates.

This experience facilitated the creation of a much stronger community within the cohort, as well as gave an early taste of the vulnerability and pressure to bring a new concept to life. The experience has become a defining chapter in the expansion of the UBC’s Okanagan campus.


Prior to entering real estate in 2010, Matt worked in the food service industry throughout Kelowna for over 10 years. Working in this field helped Matt develop the skills to serve his clients both from a customer service and strategic basis.

It is Matt’s desire to not only provide results, but also exceptional service that takes his clients’ experience from good to great. Years of dealing with people in challenging settings and meeting high expectations have given Matt the skill set of handling negotiations, building rapport and reducing stress. Matt always strives to do more than what is expected by anticipating the needs of his clients.


Matt is proud to have finished within the Top 1% of Realtors® within the OMREB Real Estate Board, as well as produce within the Top 100 in Western Canada for RE/MAX.

While these accomplishments are important, they would not be possible without the trust and commitment of his loyal clients. Accolades are nice but they place a distant second behind Matt’s desire to know he positively impacted the people he has helped.
